Eagle Creek Acquiring Area FBOs

Eagle Creek Aviation Services in Indianapolis is buying Montgomery Aviation, which operates at three Indianapolis-area airports.

Eagle Creek CEO Matt Hagans and Montgomery Aviation President Dan Montgomery and Vice President Andi Montgomery have reached an initial understanding on terms for the purchase, which will include the FBO and maintenance facility at Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ) in Zionsville, the FBO at the Frankfort/Clinton County Airport (FKR) in Frankfort, and the FBO at the Grissom Aeroplex in Peru.

“Montgomery Aviation has a long history of providing customer service over the last 25 years at Indy Exec Airport as well as their other Indiana locations,” Hagans commented. “They, along with Hamilton County, have grown the airport from a small rural airport to one of Indy’s premier general aviation facilities. Our intent is to continue to build upon what has been established.”

Montgomery Aviation also operates a flight school, Montgomery Flight Training; and an FAA registered maintenance shop and repair station.

Eagle Creek Aviation will continue to operate its existing facilities at Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE) in Indianapolis and at Naples Jet Center (APF) in Naples, Florida, both of which are authorized Twin Commander Service Centers. Plans call for supplementing current maintenance, charter, and aircraft sales operations at Indy Exec, Frankfort, and Grissom with Eagle Creek’s team.
