Eagle Creek Aviation recently upgraded a trio of Twin Commander 690s for Conair Aerial Firefighting. The avionics packages included Garmin G950 integrated flight displays and tactical radios for each. With two 10.4-inch primary flight displays and a 12.4-inch multifunction display, each aircraft now has the latest in navigation, communication, terrain, traffic, weather and engine instrumentation. “We were privileged to have had the opportunity to complete such an extensive and important project for Conair,” said Randy Morelock, Eagle Creek’s director of avionics. Conair uses the Twin Commanders as Air Attack “Bird Dogs” that help coordinate movements on a fire.
