Genesys Aerosystems recently announced that its S-Tec 3100 digital autopilot will soon be certified on Twin Commander 500, 680, and 690 models. Part of a new crop of the latest-generation autopilots to hit the market in recent years, the S-Tec 3100 can interface with a number of different displays, including those from Garmin, Aspen, and others. It includes envelope protection, straight and level recovery, and altitude preselect.
