valair logoNew owners bring change, and one of the first changes that AGC Aerospace & Defense, the new owners of The ServiCenter, Inc. at Wiley Post Airport in Bethany, Oklahoma, have made is to change the name of the long-time Twin Commander Aircraft authorized service center. The new name is Valair Aviation. The name is evocative of the concepts of valet, value, and valor, according to AGC.

The ownership group is committed to maintaining the legacy of The ServiCenter and building on its reputation through the introduction of Valair, said Rick Nagel, principal with AGC Aerospace & Defense. The new name better conveys our presence in the aerospace industry and encompasses what we do best through our premier aviation services, tip-to-tail maintenance, and military air operations support.

In the year that AGC Aerospace has owned and operated the former ServiCenter, the group has implemented upgrades to its service offerings, capabilities, certifications, and building amenities. Last September Valair launched a customer loyalty program for frequent clients. Now, along with the name change, the company plans to further its facility improvements. Valair operates in 200,000 feet of hangar and maintenance space, and carries ISO 9001 certification.

We are committed to Valairs growth and increased value proposition to its customers, said Valair CEO Darryl Wilkerson. Valair is one of the few one-stop turnkey maintenance, repair, and overhaul shops in the country and is well positioned for growth as the general aviation business rebounds nationally.
