JetProp HID Light Design Complete

Due to the overwhelming response from the fleet for the 690-series HID lights, Twin Commander Aircraft has completed design of the next generation of HID lighting for Jetprop Commander models. The new HID modification for the Jetprop series provides for a brighter, more intense beam and offers pulse lighting for higher visibility to other aircraft and tower personnel while in flight. Twin Commanders engineering department is in the final phases of FAA approval of the design. Contact your factory-authorized service center to pre-order yours today.

Engine Control Cable Nut available in April

As part of an ongoing effort to improve cabin pressurization, Twin Commander Aircraft has completed design of a new engine control cable nut. In addition to creating a tighter cabin seal, the new design improves overall flight safety because it reduces the potential for moisture buildup in the cable mechanism, which has been known to freeze and bind the engine controls. Twin Commander is currently working with a vendor to produce the control cable nut and expects to have parts available in early April of 2010. As a result of the improved design the parts will be available at a significant cost savings compared to the previous configuration.
